The trial against Spaska Mitrova, which was scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed until June 14, Spaska Mitrova Initiative Committee announced. The case has been opened by the first panel of judges who sentenced Spaska Mitrova to three months' imprisonment. This time the case is for contempt of court.

At the initiative of Evgeni Kirilov, MEP with the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, Bulgarian MEPs from all political groups will meet with EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule to introduce him to cases of violation of human rights in Macedonia against citizens with Bulgarian awareness, and namely with the case of Spaska Mitrova. The meeting will be held in the frames of the April plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on April 20.

Sofia. The process against Spaska Mitrova cannot be called transparent, said the Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs during the parliamentary control, FOCUS News Agency reporter informs. The process was held at closed door and despite it is in a compliance to the Macedonian legislation, in the view to the public pressure I think this was wrong and unacceptable, Mladenov said.
